Mayumi spent 20 years working in HR for global companies such as Morgan Stanley, Nomura Securities, Richemont and Royal Canin. During this time, she developed her expertise in organizational and people development. She later founded Team Next LLC and has since supported clients in a variety of sectors, including retail, publishing, advertising, and pharmaceuticals.

Applying global insights tailored to the Japanese context, she focuses on creating environments where people can collaborate authentically, generate value, and continue to learn and grow. She values collaborating with clients to envision their organizations' desired futures, draw out their strengths, and enhance their team relationships to promote business growth.

Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, scuba diving and travelling. Born in Okayama in 1976, she studied in the UK, worked in Australia, and is now based in Tokyo.
